Survival Float Test

We don’t just talk about water safety… or teach water safety… we test water safety. Twice a year we schedule a Survival Float Test week where our students are tested on their survival skills should they unexpectedly fall into the pool with their clothes on. The test acts as a real life scenario and is an excellent evaluation of how our students are doing and what skills they need to improve on. Students come fully dressed and perform their survival skills as they jump in from the edge of the pool, roll over into a survival float, swim back to the wall and climb back out safely.
